Pausing the countdown timer

This article explains the use of the countdown timer pause feature

During the final bidding or offer stage, the clock counting down to the final stage date and time will be replaced with a timer or stopwatch.

At any time, the Agent or Auctioneer (if they have remote access) can pause the clock at any time for an indefinite period of time.
